In January 2015, we undertook an unforgettable week long road trip around Iceland, taking in Reykjavík; the Þingvellir National Park; the Strokkur Geyser and the Haukadalur geothermal area; the waterfalls of Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss and Hengifoss; the coastline and black beaches at Vik; the ice lagoon, glaciers, beach icebergs and ice caves in the Vatnajökull National Park, and the farms and fishing communities on the Tröllaskagi (Troll Peninsula).

If you haven't already visited 'the land of fire and ice', we hope this film might inspire you to travel to this primordial and breathtakingly beautiful country at the farmost reaches of Europe. The soundtracks that feature in this film accompanied us on our epic road trip and are by Icelandic musicians, Ólafur Arnalds and Sigur Rós.
